Sounds about right when you think about it. The cost of shipping a truck to Australia + converting it to RHD + taxes/duties/whatever all can add up, especially in a (population wise) small and isolated country like Australia.
Just look at the Kumquat Cashcow Kodak Qashqai. Fourty grand in Australia for the top spec car, which is $10k more than in Canada (with the exchange rate being $1.01 AUD = $1 CAD)

If they’re making it 6 figures, why not graft a cadillac face on it? Do Aussies even know much about chevy or find them appealing? At least when Ford has a vehicle there, it’s an established brand.
